Our matcher is live and behaving. Everything under 2,500 goes through on its own, everything above waits for me. That works, and the queue is small enough that I am not complaining.
What I am less sure about is the top of the range. Anything over 10,000 currently sits with me as well, but our own approval matrix says two signatures above that number, and one of those signatures is supposed to be the finance director. Right now the agent hands me a recommendation, I approve it, and then I go and get her approval in a completely separate system, which feels like I have added a step rather than removed one.
Two questions for anyone who has been through this. Do you run a second approval inside Quenlow, so the item stays held until both people have signed? Or do you cap the agent at the single-signature limit and let anything above it leave the agent entirely, which is what our auditor seemed to be hinting at when I described it?
For context we are a 600-person logistics business and maybe 40 invoices a month land above 10,000. Not a big number, but they are the ones anybody looks at.
